"I see the war is a clear result of the typical behaviour of people to stick to the known. The People from the Union liked to stick to their ways of trade, while the people of the Mandalorians liked to stick to their ways of raid.

As pro-actively protecting their territory is not the nature of the trade, the people of the Union automatically sticked to their peaceful ways, while the Mandalorians continued to pursue their way of raid. As both super cultures are unwilling to change, conflict was only inevitable."

As she walks out of the senate buildings, the twi'lek slave quickly spots the familiar sight of an interviewer and accompanying camera crew and technicians.

Clearly remembering what her mistress told the Veolian her about further contact with Elrinka, she promptly adjusted her direction to make sure she wouldn't come into view of the interviewer.

"Three independent committees have been formed to discuss the opinion of the Socialist Republic of Niom on the topic of the war. The first committee will investigate the general feel amongst our politicians, using a likkert scale interview style, which they will compile into a 14 volume reviews over the next six months. The second committee will investigate the economic consequences of a possible Mandalorian invasion of Niom, including the option of a full scale orbital bombardment, so that the exact economic cost of the total destruction of the homeworld may be known. A third committee will investigate the grander economic consequences for the union in a similar manner, and both the second and third committee will write an extensive and detailed report on their findings. Once they have reached their conclusions, the higher bureaucratic court will assign a committee to investigate their findings and formulate a formal opinion on this topic. Besides this, once the first committee has completed their findings, a fourth committee will investigate whether the opinions have changed as a result of the second and third committee, presuming the first committee completes their findings first. If this is not the case and the second and third... "
