The Teprogrenaian delegation arrived at the pre-arranged time at the Sundarian embassy. The delegation exsisted of Danar Torig, Danar Tassar and their aides: Fecta Curssum and a younger danar woman.
The Lady de Montrève and Thomas Pendra welcomed their guests after they had passed through security and walked to a conference room which had been prepared for the meeting.
" Senator Tassar, Headmaster Torig," Peinaili said, "it is a pleasure to welcome you to our Embassy once more."
" Senator Tassar, Headmaster Torig," Peinaili said, "it is a pleasure to welcome you to our Embassy once more."
After an exchange of pleasantries and some small talk over the course of a refreshment, Thomas Pendra started out with an explanation of the possibilities.
"Senator, Headmaster, We have asked you here to discuss a possible arrangement between our respective nations, which will most likely be profitable to both of us. We have seen a growing demand in the information market and consequently we see an increase of market potential for our Holonet Arrays. As such we are of the opinion that our current production is no longer sufficient to sustain future growth and demand and are thus looking for ways to expand our capabilities in this field.
In order to assure a faster transition and provide long lasting benefits at a favourable cost, we are looking to acquire an amount of 300
/
, for an (in principle) indefinite period. Given the flexibility and growth potential of the Teprogrenaian economy, we felt is wise to inquire after the possibilities and options of return payment.
Suppose the Concensus would be willing to provide us this amount
, what would you like for them in return or for which amount could we purchase them?"

"We have no problem with providing your faction with the requested amount of
. Our faction currently is in shortage of
oriented goods and
. However I have seen that your faction has little left over of those to provide us of these materials. Therefore a payment in
and
is welcome as well.
We first wanted to use the open market prices of holonet relays as referance, but those prices are ridiculous. Therefore we value
prices of 4.5
per
. We think a trade of 300
and 113
for 300
seems fair. This is half of the price for 100
, which we provide half the materials for.
What do you think of this trade?"
((OOC: sorry for the late reply, I'm not in a posting mood lately :())

"That is an acceptable offer Headmaster." Thomas Pendra responded, "In the future we are willing to look into providing the Consensus with goods (dependant on your needs) , but currently the shipment of 300
and a payment of 113
is most favourable to both of us.
How long would the Consensus need to prepare so that this deal can be met? "

"Please, call me Torig." Danar Torig said,
"The Consensus will be able to supply the Sundarian Federation from
97 with the
. Limited
is the main crippling factor here, so we could prepare faster, up to
93 if the Sundarian Federation is willing to pay a loan the Consensus.
We wish to include in the deal some terms when one of the parties wants to brake up with the deal. We were thinking something like: 'When either party wishes to end the deal, the party have to announce this 10
beforehand with a valid reason for the ending included'.
This complement is of course mostly a formality as the deal is set up as an indefinite one.
Any changes in the deal which is accepted by both parties is fine as well of course."

"Such a clause is acceptable to us," Thomas answered, "though we expect to never use it, perhaps to change the delivery of
to several goods. We would further welcome a phased build up, this may help to manage the costs better and will provide us more time to match the final agreement.
We are currently looking into ways to assist the Consensus in financing this expansion effort by exploring opportunities for a loan from the Unified Republic of Darya. Lets assume for the moment that the needed amount of
can be secured and the necessary raw materials delivered, would it be possible for the Consensus to deliver the first 150
/
starting in
91? Once this part is secure we would have more time to expand to the full 300

while we can already see the benefit of this agreement."

"Such an advance payment would be most welcome. And we like a phased built up as well. We propose that the Consensus starts sending 150
from
91, and the total 300
from
97.
We also believe that it is most efficient to send the
per holoray."

bandwidth for this particular agreement, as we should have sufficient capacity available at that time. We shall provide this free of charge, just like we currently do for your
arrangement with the Praetorian Empire. ((OOC: 150

We can also agree with the phased increase in delivery as you propose ( 150

by 50 in turn 91, and by another 50 in

With that said, an aide came in carrying a communique which was first read by the Lady de Montrève and then passed to Thomas Pendra. It was good news, as he placed the document in his dossier and then continued with a smile.
"We have managed to secure a loan on favourable terms from our good friends, the Unified republic of Darya. As a result of this we shall provide the Consensus with gift 700
this turn (
89), to be used for upgrading your ICT production facilities."

((OOC: Okay this is a little strange, as I have new information of later turns, while IC no basically no time has passed here, I think we have to look beyond that for now.))
"Thank you for this generous gift Thomas Pendra, we will put the
in immediate good use for this deal. We also have an update about the economical situation of the Consensus: We might be able to start sooner with delivering of the 300 (:ICT-technology), but to do so we have to change other deals as well, so the Consensus is now basically locket-in.
97.
If the Sundarians like the
sooner, it will take the Consensus 3 turns to make sure that it is possible. "
