System Creation

This page describes the rules and requirements for new System. A system is created by spending 50 , 100 , 200 and 5 .

  1. Use to buy stars and Gas Giants
  2. Use to buy Specials
  3. Finish the system by placing the starting zones and population.

Resources

When creating a new system you get:

Specials are used as wildcard during system creation.

Unused can be converted to , and unused can be converted to , both in a 1 on 1 ratio.

Spend Gas-Mass

Place stars and gas giants with .

Stars

A system must have a star. The central point of a system is its star (or stars in case of a binary system).

The chosen star determines the number of Hot orbits ( ), Goldilocks orbits ( ) and Cold orbits ( ), and the naturally available Power of each orbit.

Gas Giants

Gas Giants have a large amount of Lunar orbits ( ) and provide a limited amount of power for their orbit.

The price of Gas Giants differs depending on their type and chosen type of orbit.

Spend Rock-Mass

Any leftover becomes on a 1:1 ratio.

Planets and Asteroid Belts

Terrestrial Planets come in various sizes and take up an orbit around the star. Planets have large amounts of Zones, but a small amount of Lunar orbits. Planets can have Atmospheres, Oceans and Natural Life. Planets are paid for using . Asteroid Belts are a special type of planet that get cheaper zones but who's zones can only be used for mining and they cannot have atmospheres, oceans and natural life.

Moons

Moons come in various sizes and take up a Lunar Orbit around the star. Moons are smaller and cheaper than planets but function very similarly. Moons can have Atmospheres, Oceans and Natural Life. Moons are paid for using . Rings and Trojan Asteroids are a special type of moon that get cheaper zones but who's zones can only be used for mining and they cannot have atmospheres, oceans and natural life. Not all planets can have rings or Trojans.

Spend Bio-Mass

Any leftover becomes on a 1:1 ratio.

Atmospheres, Oceans & Climates

Atmospheres and Oceans increase the total production of a terrestrial planet or moon.

A world in Goldilocks Orbit with an atmosphere can have up to three Climates. Climates provide a bonus in one product or raw material, but a penalty in another.

Atmospheres and Oceans are paid for using , climates are free.

Life

A planet in Goldilocks Orbit with an atmosphere or ocean is called Habitable and may have Natural Life. Worlds with natural life can have Zones constructed and upgraded for half price. Natural life is paid for using .

Population

Planets and moons may have Population.

A new system starts with 2.0, each extra 0.1 costs 1 .

Place Zones

The starting zones are placed in the system. Starting zones placed on a world with Natural Life get a free Improved Production upgrade.
