Specials are bought during System Creation using Special Points. Special options are features that can be added to your system to help make it unique. The list here is not exhaustive - you are encouraged to contact the Storyteller to make up your own special options!

Sometimes special options affect how you can spend your gas, rock and bio-mass. When the 'applies to' field lists “planet” this means any gas giant or rocky planet that circles around the central star. This includes dwarf planets, but not asteroid belts.

	Active Sun	Temperature of the orbit is increased by one class (Cold to Goldilocks or Goldilocks to Hot).	Any Goldilocks Orbit or Cold Orbit
	Trinary System	Brown Dwarf gains +4 , produces an additional 40 , but cannot be mined for gasses.	Brown Dwarf in a Binary System
	Augmented Species	10% of race gets an extra racial characteristic.	Population
	Jackpot	+200 production on one zone.	Any world with zones
	Retrograde Axis Spin	+15 on all zones.	Any rocky planet or moon
	Ancient Ruins	+15 to all zones on the world.	Any Goldilocks orbit planet or moon with an atmosphere or an ocean
	Frozen Ocean	The Liquid Methane Ocean on the planet is a Water Ocean instead. Planet gains free Natural Life.	Any rocky planet or moon in a cold orbit with an ocean
	Chthonian planet	Gas Giant in innermost orbit produces instead of and zones produce +75 .	Any Gas Giant in Hot Orbit, which must be the innermost orbit in the system.
	Artificial Moon	One of the moons in the system is artificial, being constructed for people to live in and on.	One small moon in Goldilocks orbit without an atmosphere, oceans, or natural life
	Foreign Jedi	Your Jedi can be of any race of your choice	Jedi
	Double Moon	Gain a duplicate of a Small Moon.	Any small moon or small dwarf planet
	Extended Heliosheath	Asteroid in outermost orbit produces instead of and zones produce +40 .	An Asteroid Belt in Cold Orbit, which must be the outermost orbit in the system.
	Artificial Intelligence	+10 per developed zone in your system	Population
	Retrograde Orbit	+15 on all zones.	Any planet or moon
	Homeworld	World gains +10 production as long as more than half the population is of the native race.	Rocky planet or moon in Goldilocks orbit with a Type I or Type II atmosphere, oceans and native life
	Tilted Axis	Half the zones on the world gets +25 production, the other half gets -25 production.	Any rocky planet or moon
