Special Goods

Special Goods are goods that are too large and too costly to have regular buyers. As a result, they cannot generate taxes, but often cost taxes instead. Such products are purchased only by governmental entities, such as player and NPC sovereignties.

Special Goods require a zone be dedicated especially to its construction, just like Products. Also like Products, Special Goods require Products and Raw Materials to construct. Unlike regular products, special goods cannot be used to generate taxes - instead, they are used to pay for things the government may wish to develop.

Hyperspace Nodes 4 Information, 4 Exotic Matter Devices Used to construct and upgrade Hyperspace Lanes
Holonet Relays 3 Electronics, 3 ICT Technology Creating and upgrading Holonet Relay Stations
Mass Transit Cargo Freighters 4 Vehicles, 4 Gasses Basic Trading Fleet or increase the capacity of Trade Fleets
Capital Ships 4 Weapons, 4 Metals Used to create or increase the power of Military Fleets
Superstructure Components 4 Construction Materials, 4 Rare Elements Used in astroengineering projects and Colonization.
