Combat Styles
[ Jedi ]
Combat Styles are used by Jedi during combat. Each combat style has six values, three offensive and three defensive, these are described in the Rings of Defence page. Combat Styles may have prerequisites (such as other Combat Styles, skills or Force powers) and they may have limitations on their use - most Combat Forms require the use of a lightsaber, for example.
A Jedi either knows a Combat Style or she does not, there are no levels. However, Combat Styles generally have one or more Special Manoeuvres (which you either have or do not have). Special Manoeuvres do two things: first, they increase the bonuses from the Combat Style. This effect applies in all circumstances. Secondly, Special Manoeuvres allow special effects in special circumstances. The exact effect is listed in the entry.
Below is a list of the Combat Styles that have been defined so far.
