The Veolian Imperial Fleet is the most advanced fleet of the Veolian Commonwealth, and under direct command of House Saret.
The Imperial fleet, together with the Veolian Imperial Guard, is the Commonwealth's military backbone. It is their first line of defence and offence, and is responsible for keeping the peace in sector 10 -5. This includes outclassing any of the House Militias to ensure that none of the other Noble Houses have enough military influence to enforce their will over that of the Imperial family.
The Imperial Fleet consist of 6 carrier battle groups, 12 battle groups and 24 auxiliary squadrons (counting 6 heavy artillery squadrons, 6 surface operations squadrons and 12 general battle squadrons). Each battle group consists of multiple vessels and is capable of autonomous operations.
The fleet is under command of fleet admiral Saman Machal, who answers directly to emperor Saret Ilius. His flagship, the Trance of Unhesitating Speed, is the lead battleship of the first battle group.

Mandalorian War
During the Mandalorian War the Veolian Imperial Fleet was on the defensive level of activity, and remained in the Smi-Halek System to defend the homeworld.
Slave Rebellion Invasion
In 
285 the Veolian Imperial Fleet was put into combat-ready status in response to expectations of conflict with the Slave Rebellion. In 287, the fleet was ordered to move towards the Adii Nasla System, together with the First Shebi Fleet, to engage the Slave Rebellion fleet blockading the settlement. The fleet returned to the Smi-Halek System in 334.
