This show highlights the strange and bizarre forms of life that have evolved all over the galaxy. It examines the weird adaptations that life has made to meet the challenges of the environment, strange defences and attacks used in the eternal battle between predator and prey and the bizarre methods that lifeforms have developed to reproduce.

The show does not feature intelligent races, but has seen a share of smart creatures. Among its episodes are those featuring:
