Tassar is elected as the representative in the Union senate for the Teprogrenaian Consensus. He was the choice of the teprogrena because of the skeptical view towards cyborgs from some of the other members of the union. The Teprogrenaian Consensus came to the conclusion that the senate will probably be more eager to listen to the words of a danar then the words of a fecta. He is in his mid life following Danar standards making him experienced in speech and thought. But he is still young enough to not be too eager to follow traditions and he got enough years ahead of him to get befriended in the senate.

He is happily married to his wife, Mirabi, for quite some time now. His marriage is also one of the reasons that made him a suitable candidate as senator. His wife offered stable mental support for hard times. As they aren't eager to have children, those do not pose a distraction from his duties as senator.

Mirabi was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, which had spread to several other parts and organs of her body. The cybernetic implants used to ensure her living makes her a mild fecta. However, this had no effect on Tassars love for his wife.
