Small lizardfolk, with a penchant for biotech, and a desire to bring life to all corners of the universe.

The Kiitik are a race of small biped reptilloid creatures. They have pointed snouts and prehensile tails, large yellow eyes and long grasping fingers. Their average life expectancy is about forty years, and they mature at age ten. Their language is described as 'chittering' by other species, and any conversation is accompanied by heavy gesturing. Their small stature, expressive eyes, and enthusiastic demeanor makes them appear somewhat childlike to other species.

As a whole, Kiitik are highly religious. Kiitik believe they are a created race, put on their world by a god/entity/being/force. Their philosophy revolves around returning this favor to the rest of the universe. This religion has no organization or power structure, and is better characterized as a philosophy, with many customs and rituals ingrained in their everyday life. Most official (and familial) meetings with Kiitik include the exchange of gifts, usually flowers or seeds. Each clan plants and takes care of a tree of Life, a symbol of their philosophy. A tree-of-life is designed for each world the Kiitik colonize, and in the course of trade negotiations, the Kiitik invariably offer to design a tree of Life for the other party's world.
