This law, defining the status of the IO Protocol , was voted into force in Turn 89.

1. Though declared non-living by the Definition of Life Act, the group of entities calling themselves the IO Processes in sector 13 -4 will be afforded the status of 'Inner World' on the basis that they are an ongoing research project.
   1. They will retain this status until such time that the party responsible for this research project is identified.
