Tayu Shanora is one of the belongings of Saret Neferti. She is tasked with the physical exercise regimen of her mistress, and acts as a host whenever her mistress entertains noble guests.
She is a proficient dancer practised in traditional veolian dances, both ball-room and solo, and an expert gymnast. She also fills in as a partner for paired physical exercises, a combination of meditative practices and physical disciplines, if no other partner is deemed suitable by her mistress.
Shanora is fluent in five languages, including native veolian (and multiple of it's dialects), galactic common and the native Twi'lek language. She has studied veolian and galactic poets, and is a well-versed poet herself. She prefers to think on her poems, and reacts very sharply to those asking her to create a poem on the spot.
History

Shanora's first recorded appearance was as a slave of a minor noble, she was aged 8. There is no record of her being bought on Mirda. She was sold to an unknown party at age 11, to disappear for two years. At the age of 15, she was traded to the patriarch of the house Karlis so his wife would have a slave. A few months after she was transferred, she and her mistress disappeared during a brutal attack on house Karlis. After several months she was seen again, this time marked as Saret Neferti's possession.
After a three years apprenticeship under Silver Blossom, she was bestowed the title of Tayu. At the age of 18, she became the first non-hemet Tayu in the history of the tradition. The larger part of her training under Silver Blossom was spent on languages and poetry, as she already demonstrated great proficiency in the other disciplines.
At the age of 20, Shanora asked her mistress' permission to attend the senior year of a prestigious Dewa academy intended for young women looking to marry into high nobility, where she attended a master focussing on harmonious household practices. She graduated with impressive grades.
