Qvavilebis is a small world in Sector 10 -6. It houses a small population of some ten-thousand settlers, mostly botanists interested in the Qvavi Flower which is the mean notable feature on the planet that is otherwise rather boring.

The planet has a 330 standard year cycle and has a very strongly elongated orbit, meaning it is frozen for most of its cycle, but it experiences a 100 day summer every few centuries, during which the Qvavi flower blooms.

The Qvavi Flower is a notable plant on Qvavilebis. The only one of its kind, it is some 20 kilometers in size, taking up some 300 square miles, the size of a large city.

Because the planet has a strong elliptical orbit, it experiences a short 100 day summer followed by three centuries of freezing cold winter. During winter, the plant hibernates, before becoming active once more during summer when its enormous structure blooms and grows, only to fade into hibernation again soon after.
