Meydo is the farthest object still recognised as a planet by the Astai definition of a planet. It is though the smallest planet in the system by quite a margin. The orbit started out as an asteroid belt as well, but Meydo eventually became large enough to clean out the orbit almost all debris, unlike the other asteroid belts that still remain insignificant clumps of rocks. As it has no atmosphere and barely any warmth it is not a pleasant working environment and has seen little exploitation. Though the absence of significant sources of gravitation has sparked some interest into trade fleet bases, taking less computation in some hyper-drive technologies.
