It would be ultimately cool if things like voting results and the elrinka news thread were aggregated into a news frontpage.

This will probably be implemented by using an RSS aggregation/filtering/display mechanism.

The following are possible improvements:

• Two-column IC/OOC layout when in overview mode
• Better detection of feed subject:
  • Removal of 'Re: '
  • Detection of '[ ' location name ' ]'
  • Detection of '<Vote>'
• Icons of location, IC/OOC
• Filtering based on hashtags in title
  • But allow some forum entries to be allowed wholesale? (UCN thread and such)

• What does an edit of the ic: namespace mean in an IC/OOC news context?
• Show only summaries (of up to 250 characters), and link to the actual item
• Display of faction icons next to senators
  • Or display of factions icons for any mentioned faction?
