Xeno-obstetrics provides medical technology to aid inter-species couples in safe procreation, providing immunisation against xenosexual diseases and adapting the genome of both parents to allow a successful match, provided the two parent species are not too different.
Normally, population growth is calculated for each species on a planet separately.
On worlds with more than one racial group, you may calculate the combined total growth of the different populations and divide the growth as you see fit. You round down only on the total. Alternatively, you may create a hybrid species with characteristics from both and add the growth to that new hybrid species.
For example, if you have a population of 1.15 billion of species A and a population of 2.4 billion of species B, you might normally have a growth of 0.023 (rounded down to 0.02) for species A and 0.048 (rounded down to 0.04) for species B.
With this technology, you can add the totals for (0.023+0.048=) 0.071 population growth (rounded down to 0.07). You may then assign this as you see fit, for example, you might grow the population of species A by 0.06 and of species B by 0.01.
Alternatively, you could add them to a new species AB which has one characteristic of A, one of B and one completely new one and add the population growth to this new species.
