Originally developed for use against blaster wielding opponents, this style focusses heavily on defence and was taught extensively during the times of chaos. In duels, it is used to wear out an opponent, but master teaching this style warn that extending a battle is risky.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Slashing | ○ | Cutting | ○ | Piercing | ○ |
| Dodging | ●●● | Blocking | ●●● | Deflecting | ●●●● |
When using your lightsaber to deflect projectile fire (such as blasters or machine-guns), you can block fire at up to three allies, so long as you are between them and the source of the projectiles. Any attacks on them are resolved against you instead.
(Slashing +○ / Cutting +○ / Piercing +○ | Dodging +○ / Blocking +○ / Deflecting +●●)
When you successfully deflect a projectile weapon during a round using your Deflecting defence, you gain a +2 on your Slashing attack next round (in accordance with the Parry Mechanism, you use the style with which you defended one round on attack the next). The +2 bonus is on top of the +1 bonus this Special Manoeuvre applies to this style.
(Slashing +● / Cutting +○ / Piercing +○ | Dodging +○ / Blocking +○ / Deflecting +○)
When you successfully deflect a blaster bolt or similar projectile from an opponent and are not surpassed on any defensive ring (by any opponent), you gain a advantage bonus against the opponent firing the bolt or projectile (and only them) which grants a +1 bonus to all attacks, taking effect from next round onwards. This bonus does not stack with other advantage bonuses, but does not require an action to acquire.
