Life Energy Manipulation is one of the Force Powers available to the Jedi. All Jedi are capable of manipulating their own life energy to an extent through meditation techniques. Jedi with this power have greater control over their own life energy, and eventually that of others.
● Power: With but a moment of concentration, the Jedi can suppres their life signs to evade notice by life sign scans, some forms of security systems and even some animals that detect you by smell, electroreception or even through the Force. Using this power lowers the chance of other Jedi noticing you based on purely sensing you with the force. This power requires a check.
● Rank 1: The Jedi is capable of masking the life signs of their companions in close proximity, evading notice by life sign scans and such. The Jedi can use this power a number of times per day equal to the Rank the Jedi has in this power. This power requires a check.
●● Rank 2: Extending their control over the life energy of others, the Jedi can now manipulate the bodies and mental states of others within close proximity. The Jedi can affect a single person of which the Jedi is aware. This person must be weak in relation to the Jedi, so this power can not be used to end a combat, unless the Jedi's victory is trivial. Examples of this power are subtly making a guard fall asleep, covertly inducing a muscle spasm so an opponent trips down the stairs, or brutally choking an insubordinate officer. The Jedi can use this power a number of times per day equal to the Rank the Jedi has in this power. This power requires an opposed check and can only be used on weak targets.
●●● Rank 3: The Jedi no longer requires close proximity to those they are masking or manipulating with the Rank 1 and Rank 2 powers. Alternatively, the Jedi can use the Rank 2 power on multiple nearby targets.
