Improved Production is a upgrade that can be applied to regular zones once. This upgrade gives the zone +50 production.
The upgrade costs 1000 
on regular zones. On a planet with Natural Life the cost is only 500 .
You can use this upgrade on Industry Zones, power zones and open market zones.
Note: if you have the Parallel Logistics Management technology, open market zones upgraded with this upgrade can support an additional trade fleet.
