Turn 60 Union Elections

Elections were held for the electoral period of 61 to 80. The participating candidates were Bolv'ar and Acehtoo, one fewer candidate than in the previous two elections.

Senator Bolv'ar of the Confederacy of Excaria, supported by the Federal Republic of Bisidn and the New Communist Imperium of the Rising Suns of Deominius advocated a military strategy to grow the Unions defensive military power. Current Chancellor Acehtoo herself went with an expantionist strategy, and a plan for more aid for Minor Worlds with the aid of the Divine Fiefdom of Highmons and the Holy Heimgolian Theocracy.

After two successful elections, Chancellor Acehtoo was finally defeated in a landslide victory for Senator Bolv'ar, no doubt in part due to the threat of being drawn into the war between the Slave Rebellion and the Hutt Families on one side and the Mandalorian threat on the other side of the Union.
