Elections were held for the electoral period of 141 to 160. The participating candidates were Nehket Aeka, Acehtoo, and Senator Lonco Morubixaba.

Nehket Aeka of the Veolian Commonwealth, backed by the Confederacy of Excaria and the Sundarian Federation wants to restore faith in the Union government through transparency, and hopes to improve the overall economy by opening trade negotiations with the Core Hegemony. (See announcement)

Acehtoo of the Miomanian Colonists, backed by the Divine Fiefdom of Highmons and the Holy Heimgolian Theocracy wants to improve the tax position of smaller worlds, and to increase the size of the Union by searching for new members. (See announcement)

Senator Lonco Morubixaba of the High Chiefdom of Skuldda, backed by the New Communist Imperium of the Rising Suns of Deominius and the Kingdom of Komès wants to improve the Union military through research focussing on movement and to shift more power to the cabinet to allow quick decisions to be made. The current chancellor, Ardios Eldrilith, did not participate.

Senator Nehket Aeka won with a majority.
