Jedi Master Shebi Ajava is the first Jedi Master hailing from the Veolian Commonwealth. Before her career as Jedi, she was trained as a special operative for House Shebi, followed by a swift career in the Shebi house navy, rising through the ranks to fleet admiral.

Currently Shebi Ajava is focussing all her attention on her duties as a Jedi Master , but she retains her rank should she ever take up her former career again. The Jedi Master can count on any support she needs from her own house, and enjoys the sponsoring of the complete Veolian Commonwealth.

I her travels, and through study, Shebi Ajava picked up several languages. Next to speaking the Veolian dialects Láadan, Bolī, and a two regional dialects spoken mostly on Mirda, she has picked up Mando'a, and is a adept speaker of Ryl (though the lack of Lekku makes her a handicapped speaker at best).

Early Life

Shebi Ajava is doubly blessed, the daughter of one of the strongest bloodlines in the house. When she went through the change into hemet, the outburst of energy was of such magnitude that the very forest in which she was walking at the time burst into flames.

Shebi Ajava trained as a special operative for the first 10 years of her military career. After specop training she joined the fleets of House Shebi where she utterly humiliated other cadets. She climbed to the rank of senior Fleet Admiral in a mere 25 years, 5 of which were spent to race through the curriculum of the Crimson Academy.

When the Jedi Order came for her, around her 60th birthday, House Shebi was exhilarated. Not only did Ajava have legendary breeding, the force was strong in her as well.

Career

After finishing her Basic Training, Shebi Ajava took part in a number of missions as a padawan

Padawan

In response to the Floating Factory Attack, the Jedi were asked to investigate possible suppliers for the type of explosives used. She participated in the both Investigate 1341-8010J RSP mission, and the Infiltrate the Red Troop operation.

During the infiltration of the Red Troop, she met Arnia'Evixel, and twi'lek slave, whom she promised to bring home. After the mission, she did so, and brought home the twi'lek girl together with Jedi Fecta Trigiel.

Shebi Ajava also participated in the Lightsaber championships, and practiced with multiple different blade configurations. She was unbeaten during the tournament, and was declared the winner of the Lightsaber Championship and was given a trophy. Though she dislikes the trophy's appearance she has given the trophy a place in her quarters.

A call for help came from the Interregnum Democracy of Scir government, as a potential heir to the throne had arrived. Scir called upon the Jedi to investigate the matter, and verify the claim. The mission was concluded with the Jedi validating the would-be king's claim, though they had reservations about the situation.

Shebi Ajava finished her padawan training with two missions. The first a Security Investigation of a group of criminals painting a large white rabbit on the senate square. Together with Ariana Danacia and Jedi Fecta Trigiel she investigated the matter and arrested the culprits. The second an investigation into the Disappearance of Murrah, together with Ariana Danacia. Together with Jedi Fecta Trigiel, she also went on a Flowery Field Trip, in hopes of seeing the Qvavi flower bloom.

In 116 she was knighted by Jedi Master Screetor after returning from her trial. Little is known about her Knights Trial. What is known is that she went away on her knight's trial and returned alive and well to be knighted. When questioned about it, her only response is that the questioner go on their own trial to find out.

Knight

After achieving Knight-hood, Ajava assisted in protecting Astrian scientists together with Ariana. She also participated in the investigation into Bolv'ar's murder on Unity.

During the Mandalorian War, she took command of the First Shebi Fleet. As fleet admiral, she joined in the battle for Nest and the subsequent chase of two Mandalorian fleets. Both fleets were eventually destroyed when they reached the border of the Core Hegemony. During her time as Fleet Admiral, she also helped with the Capture of Mandalorian Ships.

Unknown to others, Ajava secretly assembled a team of mercenaries to arrange for the Breakout of Tera. With the missions succesful, she had Tera Inogo transported out of the Union.

Together with Jedi Fecta Trigiel and Ariana Danacia she investigated the explosion of a joint Excarian-Heimgolian research facility. The investigation brought them to the ocean world U2B-J'bey'q. There the investigation into the Catastrophic Trails was wrapped up after they encountered the Sith woman Ajava spotted earlier during the investigation of 1341-8010J RSP.

Together with her padawan, Darones Rei, she investigated the disappearance of Jedi Knight Irina Hightower. Following up on her findings, she was sent to Quarsti VI by Master Leithor. She travelled with Ariana Danacia and Jedi Fecta Trigiel, and tracked down the errant Jedi Knight. After a short discussion, they trio let the Knight go on her way.

She worked with T'sal when the Jedi Council sent the pair to perform an Investigation of assault on prisoner transport.

Shebi Ajava also participated in the overarching Regime Change campaign to oust the Mandalore. Together with Ariana Danacia she infiltrated a Sith stronghold during the Ziost Sabotage mission. The Union Strikes Back as she was sent into Mandalorian territory to help assist a Union agent known as 'Black Swan' take control of clan Malkoth. And in the final stages of the campaign she helps plan the execution of the Mandalore on Yenia III. During the flight to Mandalorian territory, several jedi discussed the upcoming mission and the morality of assassinating the Mandalore. In the discussion Shebi Ajava questioned the wisdom of going through with the plan. During the actual Execution on Yenia III, Ajava eventually came eye-to-eye with the Mandalore in combat and decided to spare him.

In 219, she was given the rank of Jedi Master and joined the Jedi Council by the traditional unanimous vote of the members of the Jedi Council.

Force Speed

Power: The Jedi uses the Force to increase the speed at which they can run. As a result, they can chase down foes more quickly, jump greater distances and even catch up with vehicles.

Rank 1: The Jedi can run short distances along a wall, allowing them to reach places normally out of reach.

Mind Trick

Power: The Jedi can use the Force to make another believe a simple lie and even guide their actions, provided the action is not too far out of character. A guard might be mind tricked to let someone pass at a general checkpoint, but they could not be mind tricked to swallow a live grenade, for example. The action must be immediate.

Rank 1: The Jedi can make a subject forget they ever saw the Jedi. If the Jedi did something important in their presence, they remember someone doing it, but they do not remember it was the Jedi. Using this power requires an opposed check. You can use this power a number of times per day equal to the number of ranks in this force power.

Telepathy ●●

Power: The Jedi can use the Force to send telepathic messages to willing living creatures over a short distance. They can also receive telepathic answers from a creature contacted. However, they cannot maintain continuous connection and telepathy requires intense concentration.

Rank 1: The Jedi can attempt to contact an individual on or above the same planet. The message is one way and must be short. This requires a check to succeed. You can use this power a number of times per day equal to the number of ranks in this force power.

●● Rank 2: Two Jedi who both have the Telepathy power can connect in a ritual that takes 10 minutes. Once connected, the bond is maintained for 24 hours and can provide open communication between the two, similar to a radio channel, but more secure.

Befriend Animal

Power: The Jedi can befriend local wildlife - though limited in their abilities, befriended animals will try to help the Jedi to the best of their ability and understanding within their natural behavior. For example, a befriended Rancor might attack the Jedi's enemies. However, a befriended rabbit would not be able to operate a computer panel to open a door. The effect is temporary and requires a check for especially powerful animals (such as the aforementioned Rancor). Next to this, the Jedi gains an animal companion, a small creature that is a permanent friend to the Jedi.

Rank 1: When facing a hostile animal, the Jedi can calm them down enough to stop them from attacking, so long as the reason the animal attacked is ended. Thus, a guard dog would stop attacking unless the master was present and ordering the dog to attack.

Force Lightning

Power: The Jedi can throw lightning from their hands, which can be used to make an attack on a single target on the piercing ring (this is a one-ring attack). The lightning has an offensive bonus on its rings equal to the number of ranks in this force power, thus it starts out as - / - / +1 . The throwing lightning counts as a weapon, so you can not use this with another weapon (not even a lightsaber).

Rank 1: The Jedi can disable an electrical device, such as a security camera or droid, with a simple touch. This power leaves no trace about the source of the malfunction. The device remains disabled until it is fixed. You can use this power a number of times per day equal to the number of ranks in this force power.

Battle Meditation

Power: Battle Meditation allows the Jedi to add a cumulative +1 per force power rank to all six rings of the fleet they are attached to.

Rank 1: Once per combat, the Jedi can temporarily recover a single effectiveness level. The effectiveness level is lost once combat ends.

Power: The Jedi's vision is not hindered by conditions with bad visibility, such as bad lighting, mist or rain.

Rank 1: The Jedi can see living beings in the area by their force signature, even in total darkness or behind cover. The Jedi must concentrate to use this ability, which might require a check under adverse conditions.

●● Rank 2: The Jedi is capable of seeing an image of what is on the other side of a door, wall or other obstacle. A powerful force user might sense they are being watched. You can use this power a number of times per day equal to the number of ranks in this force power.

Life Energy Manipulation ●●●

Power: With but a moment of concentration, the Jedi can suppres their life signs to evade notice by life sign scans, some forms of security systems and even some animals that detect you by smell, electroreception or even through the Force. Using this power lowers the chance of other Jedi noticing you based on purely sensing you with the force. This power requires a check.

Rank 1: The Jedi is capable of masking the life signs of their companions in close proximity, evading notice by life sign scans and such. The Jedi can use this power a number of times per day equal to the Rank the Jedi has in this power. This power requires a check.

●● Rank 2: Extending their control over the life energy of others, the Jedi can now manipulate the bodies and mental states of others within close proximity. The Jedi can affect a single person of which the Jedi is aware. This person must be weak in relation to the Jedi, so this power can not be used to end a combat, unless the Jedi's victory is trivial. Examples of this power are subtly making a guard fall asleep, covertly inducing a muscle spasm so an opponent trips down the stairs, or brutally choking an insubordinate officer. The Jedi can use this power a number of times per day equal to the Rank the Jedi has in this power. This power requires an opposed check and can only be used on weak targets.

  • Sun Djem: If a minor injury is scored and one of the defeated defences is the the Blocking Defence (Middle Ring), the opponent is not off balance, but instead his weapon is damaged and rendered unusable for the remainder of the battle. It may be repaired afterwards.
  • Water over the falls: When you do not attack and only take Non-Combat actions, you do not lose your style bonus to defence the next round so long as you use this form again next round. You still lose your offensive bonus.
