Senator Senator Harek opens a discussion on sentient rights in the senate. He presents a short version of a first draft of the sentient right declaration. Senators Senator Lonco Morubixaba, Kachiso Doshima, Ardios Eldrilith, and Senator Afra Mesti Vanlind raise objections to the first draft. Nehket Aeka proposes to put the proposal in effect as a treaty with reservations, if is is passedin the senate. In addition senators Senator Danar Tassar, Senator Shahkra and Lady Peinaili de Montrève raise further points of discussion. After a round of discussions, senator Harek presents a fully written proposal of his earlier short version.
To prevent the Debate on slavery from interfering with the related debate on sentient rights, Chancellor Nehket Aeka opens a second discussion to separate the topics of sentient rights and slavery. After this, the chancellor and the Hiocan senator continued with a short exchange on the interpretation of different rights.
