Jedi Master Qun Treen grew up in the care of the Jedi Order as an orphan. It is unknown where he was born, he was found by a Jedi from the Jedi Council on a remote planet, in a small escape pod. After it became clear that he was force sensitive, the Jedi Order took him in.

Over the course of his career he has studied rituals and techniques intended to control one's body. One of his accomplishments is the reconstruction of an ancient ritual that causes brain activity to become undetectable.
