Offer of Aid Law

The Turn 17 Subsidies Law amends this law. This law was amended in Turn 92, and in Turn 258

All member worlds are automatically granted an Embassy Building on Unity, to be considered sovereign territory of that nation. Additionally or alternatively at their discretion they may have use of offices and meeting rooms in the Senate Building in agreement with the Senate Building office management.

Upon becoming Inner Worlds of the Union for the first time, member worlds are granted a special subsidy for the first twelve weeks of membership.

1. They shall be exempt from all taxes for this period, excluding exceptional taxes levied for the defense of the Union.
2. They shall be paid a lump sum of 1500 per turn during this period
3. This sum may be spent on building and upgrading zones only.
4. Exceptions to provision 3 may be made by law.
   1. To promote new worlds defending themselves, Defence Forces may now be purchased with the 'Offer of Aid' funds granted to new members.
