Khaw Rohana is the economic advisor to the Veolian embassies. She is also one of the members of the Board of Directors of the Khaw Estate. During normal negotiations she usually goes without aides and assistants, preferring to do most of the calculations and analysis herself. On the Veolian homeworld Mirda she is best known for her analytic insight and feared for her capability to reduce everything and everyone around her to numbers.
There are persistent rumours that Khaw Rohana was a member of the Damana death squad during the aftershock wars. Yet no proof has been brought forward, other than the fact that she herself refuses to tell anyone of her whereabouts during the final years of the aftershock wars.
Lady Khaw Rohana is married to a (now retired) researcher well known for his genetics research. Their union produced 73 children, of which 12 became Hemet Veolians. Her grandchildren have a slightly higher than average change to become hemet, averaging about 1 in 8.
