The Jedi Council asks for volunteers to investigate the Tunuaranan moonquakes. The jedi Ariana Danacia, Jaicen Hedoss, Jedi Fecta Trigiel, and Darones Rei volunteer to travel out to investigate the matter.

The Jedi travelled to Kons where they contacted Bishop Nanteek Adool. At Kons, they landed at the same science camp as the previous team had left, where they were greeted by the scientists. After a quick discussion, the four Jedi decided to split into two teams: Trigiel and Darones going on a ground trip to the Temple of Si'Aalin to investigate some rumours there regarding a beam of green light, which might be related to the earthquakes. Ariana and Jaicen going to investigate the earthquakes with help of a satellite.

Before going, Trigiel and Darones recruited the help of some scouts to guide them, as their trip would lead them to the mountains via the village of Orilon. A storm was brewing making an air trip very difficult hence the ground expedition, with scouts and tauntauns. Ariana and Jaicen recruited the help of the Mu collective to use their advanced scanning equipment. Bishop Loshro Dunefis of Mo'Irin arrived to bless the endeavour of the Jedi.

On their way the party discovered that the storm was bigger than anticipated, making the ground trip a little longer. The group landed roughly seventy kilometres away from the village Orilon. They agreed to part ways, and meet again in seven days.

Ground Team

Although the storm was heavy, the party made way to Orilon taking a route through valley's. At Orilon, it appears that the village suffers from the storm and a strange illness under the elder. Even though the village people say their religious obelisk in the centre of the village protects them.

Darones investigates the sick and discovers that they suffer from radiation poisoning. However the radiation is lowest in the centre of the village near the obelisk.

Trigiel conveys a quick investigation and concludes that the obelisk is a passive device with intricate pathways in it of iron lines. The object is old but in good shape.

The Jedi helped to organize the sick people around the obelisk where they would be safest against the radiation. However they couldn't find out why the elder got sick, but the rest didn't.

Trigiel, Darones and the scouts went on to the temple Si'Aalin. However, before they are getting there, the radiation levels were becoming dangerously high. With no radiation suit to spare, the Jedi decided to go alone without the scouts. The scouts ensured the tauntauns would survive if they stayed a short time.

Arriving at the temple of Si'Aalin, they discovered it was mostly blown away by a giant pillar of green light which was emitting from the centre of the temple into the sky. It was a least 20 meter wide.

Being a cyborg, Trigiel risked looking into the pillar of energy to spot the origin. he saw artificial walls roughly hundred meters deep down with strange writing on it. Then he was hit by an energy discharge. The cyborg survived but had to rely on his back-up systems for the rest of the mission. He than began to make measurements of the pillar for later study. Darones discovered that there was an energy build-up first bellow the temple which was released at once in the form of some sort of explosion.

Not wanting to overstay their time within a high-radiation area, Darones and Trigiel went back to Orilon, and back to the rendezvous point.

The four Jedi met again at the agreed location. While Ariana wanted to compare results, Trigiel urged for a medical check-up and body repairs for Darones and him. Darones appeared to be okay for the moment and Trigiel was able to repair some of his functions with help of Jaicen.

Back at the science camp, the Jedi discussed their findings with the scientists, but were unable to plot a course of action as further study of the data was necessary. As a result, the four Jedi parted with the Bishop and the scientists.
