The Hutt Families are the Hutt Families in control of Hutt Space. Hutt Space lies towards the Outer Rim from the Union. Various different factions and territories exist within Hutt Space and the different groups are often in conflict with one another, however, they work together at times in loose alliances and they all cooperate against outsiders who would threaten Hutt rule - better to have another Hutt then an unknown outsider in power. The Hutt Families are at war with the Slave Rebellion.
