Echani

[ Superpowers ]

The Echani are a near-human species and long standing rivals of the Mandalorian Fleets. Like the Mandalorians their culture is focussed around combat, though their style of battle is much more hit-and-run oriented, with faster and lighter troops compared to the heavily armoured Mandalorian warriors.

The Echani encompass battle in all aspects of their culture and it is a form of art, communication and expression for the Echani people. Their frequent use and thus skill in battle has kept the Echani territories relatively untouched by the Times of Chaos, though it has led to the superpower closing itself off to the outside with foreigners being unwelcome and trade missions challenged at the border and even fired upon.

The Mandalorians often raid Echani border worlds, which has not helped them become more open to future trade.
