Divine Fiefdom of Highmons

The Fiefdom of Highmons is a sovereign state in Sector 12 -6. It is a Feudal Theocracy centered around the Church of Highmons. Originally reluctant to join the Union, the Fiefdom of Highmons eventually joined in hopes of doing missionary work to other member states, which so far has brought mixed success.

Highmonian religion dictates that a pantheon of Highmonian deities have constructed the galaxy as a test and that they manage the souls of the living, weighing them constantly and bringing fortune to those who do 'good' and misfortune to those who do 'evil', by Highmonian standards.

The Highmonians have a great opposition to all forms of droids, believing them to be the product of sentients playing God and trying to create a soul - since sentients are not Gods, such souls are flawed, which makes a mockery of the divine creation, according to the Highmonians. Notably, they have no opposition to cloning biological entities, since they believe these merely provide a vessel for divinely created souls.

The Divine Fiefdoms of Highmons maintain close relations with the Holy Heimgolian Theocracy.
