Lady Dewa Sonali is one of the slaves of Shebi Sundara. In non-military matters, she is often a sea of calm compared to her mistress' fickle nature, which was recognized by the emperor himself who once described her as “a beacon of serenity and rationality calmly afloat in a roaling green sea with teeth”.
She holds a master's degree in both Economics and Engineering, making her unusually versed in technological matters when compared to her peers.
Early Life
Dewa Sonali and Shebi Sundara met for the first time when Sonali visited the estates of House Shebi with her father at the age of 19. During her visit, Dewa Sonali became hemet during an unfortunate accident where a hovercar smashed into her. Because of the second breadth, she recovered quickly.
After the second breadth, her parents enrolled her in a prestigous Dewa school where she learned the finer points of marriage in preparation for an arranged marriage to a member of House Nehket. Over the next century she went through the extensive curriculum at a leisurely pace. Meanwhile, she and Shebi Sundara kept in contact. The older hemet used her influence to arrange for several beneficial situations, asking only small things in return.
Unbeknownst to Sonali, Sundara had been working towards getting the marriage agreement between House Dewa and House Nehket cancelled. When the agreement was cancelled over an insult, Sundara immediately took the opportunity to meet with the elders of House Dewa. She reasoned that with the marriage cancelled, the investment in Sonali's education could be used to cement an alliance with House Shebi. After two weeks of negotiations, House Dewa and House Shebi reached an agreement.
Sonali objected to the idea at first. To safe face, her father ordered her to go with Shebi Sundara on a two-year deep space mission. When they returned, Sonali had agreed to the proposition. After she officially became Sundara's property, Sonali enrolled at the Dewa Parivāra University and graduated with honours with a double degree in Economics and Engineering.
