The Adii Nasla system is named after the mythological 'new breed', due to its wildly differing environment from Smi-Halek. In veolian folklore a tale told in several variations states that many species found in the Smi-Halek System go through periods of genetic upheaval. Only the strongest of the species will survive, leading the ecosystem into the next generation. Many of these tales speak of flowers, trees, insects, animals and other simpler species. In one variation, the Veolian species itself is subject to a violent evolution visited upon it by the changing environment. The resultant species are the Adii Nasla, a new breed of veolians rising up to take their place among the stars.

The Adii Nasla system features the binary stars of Mithuna Rasi, around which orbit three planets and a massive asteroid belt.

The Adii Nasla is controlled by the Veolian Commonwealth.
