13 -5 Fleet Exercise

Senator Standro, minister of defence, announced a large-scale fleet exercise to maintain the general readiness of the Union Fleets, and to keep the forces in peak condition in the case of conflict. The exercise itself consisted of two parts, a deep space battle simulations and a system defence and orbital deployment exercise. The exercise took place in 216, in 13 -5, with several factions sending delegations and military units. The exercise also got its name from the location, seeing how most military has regular fleet exercises, the nickname was quickly taken over by most Union members to identify this much larger event.

The following Union members participated in the exercise:

• The New Communist Imperium of the Rising Suns of Deominius sent a large carrier participating in the deep space battle simulation,
• The Teprogrenaian Consensus has sent a Futui-class star destroyer participating in the deep space simulations with its superior broadside cannons,
• The Praetorian Empire sends multiple units of its main fleet with improved scanning arrays and reconnaissance ships,
• The Veolian Commonwealth sends two battlegroups to participate in the deep space simulations, as well as a battlegroup and a specialist infantry unit to participate in both system defence and orbital deployment trainings, next to the army units a small group of veolian officials is present to observe,
• The Astrian Colonial Authority send three Arch Devil class cruisers and two full regiments of marines, with the army units comes a small group of officials,
• The Sundarian Federation sends most of their reconnaisance vessels, together with two full squadrons of space capable fighters, together with a delegation of officials

Next to participation, the Veolian Commonwealth, Praetorian Empire and Confederacy of Excaria assisted in piracy patrols during the exercise's run-up, main event, and return of the Union fleets.
