Create a Faction

Before you can create a faction you will need to think about what your faction will be like. What makes your faction special? What are the strong points of your faction? How does your faction function? Maybe there are some weak points?

Many factions distinguish themselves with their own type of government. Is your faction ruled by a dictator, emperor, president or something different? Your faction can have any type of government. Your faction could be a democracy, theocracy, communistic, empire or any other form of government.

Use the Faction builder to create your faction.

1. First fill in your faction name in the 'Faction Name' field. This is the most important field and this name will be used to reference to your faction on other pages.
2. In the 'Base system Name' field you can fill in the name of the star system that your faction is currently ruling or originated from. If you plan to start a economy later you can further develop your star system with the System builder.
3. Select your faction logo by uploading it or selecting an existing image on the wiki using the 'Upload / Select' button. Try to make the image 300×300 pixels in size, or at least square.

Follow the dialog to upload your image. Once uploaded, look up your image in the list and click it once. The dialog should now close and you can see a preview of the image on the right.

Choose the Union status that your faction is starting at. Currently when you create a new faction you can choose between status:

• A Protectorate does not participate politically and has no Senator. Choose this option if you want to create the nation that your Jedi is from.
• A Minor World participates politically, but not economically. Choose this option if you want to play a Senator, or if you want to play a Jedi and a Senator.
• An Inner World participates both politically and economically in the Union. Choose this option if you want to participate in the economy - you may also have a Jedi.

Finally when you have filled in all the required information it is time to create your faction. When you have hit the 'Save your faction' button the forum account will be created and the wiki text will be displayed.

The builder will automatically add your faction to the wiki, you can manually edit the wiki text now and should hit the 'SAVE' button when you are finished.

The builder will create a forum account for your faction. The forum account will be automatically linked to your main account and you can select it in the account menu on the right.
